Vicky Kaushal's film about her life has been a huge hit on the screen, both in the US as well as internationally.

The film, basing itself on his life Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his battle against Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb has reached the mark of Rs350 crore in the Indian box office on Tuesday, and is on the verge of crossing the Rs500 crore mark in the world within the first 12 days of the film's theatrical release.

The film is directed with Laxman Utekar. Chhaava was recently given a special recognition in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address.

Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 12:

According to the industry monitor Sacnilk, Chhaava, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, made Rs70 crore in the world, and its total earnings in India was Rs413.35 crore.

Chhaava has made a profit of Rs483.35 crore in the world as of Tuesday, which marked the end on Chhaava Day 12 in the release.

With the pace of the film and the absence of any significant box office competition it is anticipated to soon top the Rs500 crore mark globally.

Chhava is currently the 18th most-awarded Bollywood film globally.

It is more than the profits from Hrithik Roshan's War ( Rs466.82 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki ( Rs470.60 crore) as well as Salman Khan's Tiger 3 ( Rs472.77 crore).

The film starring Vicky Kaushal is getting closer to the threshold of Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju which grossed Rs541.76 crore during its global duration.

Despite having an increase of 50 percent in profits on Monday and almost no growth the following day, Chhaava has its sights set on an opportunity to capitalize on the Mahashivratri holiday in order to re-energize its box office figures.

According to data from Sacnilk's the Vicky Kaushal-starring film earned an estimated Rs18 crore at Indian box office on the 12th of July, Tuesday.

The film also surpassed the threshold of Rs350 crores and made Rs363.25 crore in its 12-day theatrical run.
